Important Update

We will not be accepting interns during the course of the Spring 2021 semester. We look forward to reviewing applications when the Internship program resumes this Summer.

If you are an active applicant who submitted all internship materials for the Spring 2021 semester and wish to be considered for the Summer 2021 semester, please use the message portal below indicating your continued interest and the Internship Coordinator will roll over your application material to the following semester.

The deadline for the Summer 2021 semester is Monday, April 5, 2021.

The Governor’s Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for Florida’s brightest students to gain valuable professional experience while helping make Florida the greatest state in the nation to live, work and play. This program is designed to provide both undergraduate and graduate students with a rare, hands-on experience in state government that will better prepare them for future careers. Interns will gain an understanding of the inner-workings of state government and have one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with elected and appointed officials, government agencies and the media.

Two letters of recommendation and your official college transcript must be submitted to the following address to be considered for this internship opportunity. You may send these documents to:
