Governor Scott said, “The law enforcement community does so much for Florida families and today’s event is just another example of their work to benefit the lives of others. I would like to thank Attorney General Pam Bondi and everyone in the law enforcement community for raising money and awareness for the Special Olympics. It is important that every Floridian gets the opportunity to live their version of the American Dream. That is why I have proposed $36 million in this year’s budget to provide critical services to people who are on the Agency for Persons with Disabilities waiting list, which means that hundreds of families who need support will get it.”
