Gov. Scott Attends Back-to-School Visit at Charlotte County School

Today, Governor Rick Scott and Commissioner Pam Stewart visited Vineland Elementary School as part of the Commissioner’s Back-to-School tour. Vineyard Elementary School has been an “A” school for 13 consecutive years and has a focus on building leadership skills in students.

Governor Scott said, “It was a pleasure to meet so many students at Vineland Elementary this afternoon and to hear from the school’s leadership and teachers about the best practices that have kept the school at an ‘A’ grade for the last 13 years. Our goal is to provide Florida’s children with the opportunity to get a great education, find a job, and live their version of the American Dream. With our record level investments in education, schools like Vineland Elementary will continue have even more resources to set our children on the path toward success.”
