Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointments of Brian Welke and Danny Mosley to the Fifth Circuit Court.
Brian Welke
Welke, 54, of Wisconsin, has served as a Judge of Lake County since 2016. He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and his law degree from the University of Tulsa. Prior to joining the bench, Judge Welke was a sole practitioner and adoption attorney. Welke fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Lawrence Semento.
Danny Mosley
Mosley, 60, is an Assistant State Attorney for the 5th Circuit State Attorney’s Office. He received his bachelor’s degree from McMurry College and his law degree from the University of Houston. Prior to serving in the State Attorney’s Office, Mosley served as an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor. Mosley fills the vacancy caused by the resignation of Judge Don Briggs.
