Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Angelita Salado to the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling.

Salado, of Miami, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has a private practice working with children and adults. She is a member of the Florida Counseling Association and American Counseling Association and serves on the board of The Family Café. Salado earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from World Dominican University, a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of the Sacred Heart, and a master’s degree in counseling from Turabo University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
