Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Dev Motwani to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation Board of Directors.

Motwani, of Fort Lauderdale, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Merrimac Ventures, a real estate development firm involved in numerous development projects including the new Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Fort Lauderdale. He is involved with the Young Presidents Organization, Broward Workshop, Orange Bowl Committee, Broward Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, Broward College Foundation, Florida Council of 100 and the Community Foundation of Broward. Motwani earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy from Duke University and his master’s degree in real estate development from Columbia University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
