Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Alan Goldsmith and Shireen Sackreiter to the Board of Accountancy.

Alan Goldsmith

Goldsmith, of Parkland, is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Broward Health. Previously, he was Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Broward Health. Additionally, he held leadership positions with Jackson Health System and Tenet Healthcare including Director of Accounting at Tenet. Goldsmith volunteers his time with the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Junior Achievement and the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition. He received his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida, his master of business administration from Nova Southeastern University and he is a certified public accountant.

Shireen Sackreiter

Sackreiter, of Tallahassee, is a Client Account Manager for Accenture, where she has worked since 1997 and specializes in Information Technology strategy and management. She is a member of the Project Management Professionals and has volunteered her time with Wish Upon a Star, Children’s Advocacy Center, Hour of Code and Day of Service. Sackreiter earned her bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Florida State University.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
