Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Christopher Lazzara to the University of North Florida Board of Trustees.

Lazzara, of Atlantic Beach, is the Chief Executive Officer of MountainStar Capital. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Partner of Ponte Vedra Management Group. Lazzara volunteers his time with the Lazzara Family Foundation and the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. He also currently serves as chair of the Community Outreach Committee of the University of North Florida’s Student Affairs Council. Lazzara earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
