Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Jennifer Swenson to the Polk County Court.

Swenson, of Lakeland, has served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Tenth Circuit State Attorney’s Office since 2012, where she currently serves as Chief of the General Felony Division. She received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and her law degree from Duke University School of Law. Swenson fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge John Kirkland.
