Tallahassee, Fla. — Today, Governor Ron DeSantis issued a proclamation recognizing the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War and released a video in partnership Veterans Alternative Inc. to honor all of Florida’s veterans.

“On this Vietnam Veterans Day, we recognize the more than 519,000 Vietnam-era veterans who call Florida home and honor the sacrifices they made,” said Governor DeSantis. “As we remember the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, I encourage everyone to honor the sacrifices that veterans make. I recently had the honor to participate in a Pro-Celebrity-Am benefiting Veterans Alternative who has made great strides in healing the wounds our veterans carry.”
