Governor Scott Appoints Charles A. Schwab to the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Tony Schwab to the 19th Judicial Circuit Court.

Schwab, 45, of Port St. Lucie, is a sole practitioner and has served as a traffic court magistrate with the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit since 2003. From 1993-1997 he served as Assistant State Attorney in the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit. Schwab received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and his law degree from the University of Denver. Schwab fills a vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Mark
W. Klingensmith to the Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Governor Rick Scott said, “During his service as a magistrate, a prosecutor, and a private lawyer, Tony has proven that he possesses a strong respect of the law. Ilook forward to Tony serving the citizens of his community in his new role as a Circuit Court Judge on the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit bench.”
